“Well made in Canada. It has two pieces that telescope into each other. Black Acetal I guess. Very strong and very light. Very easy to use. If they are too tight to get apart with your fingers just twist a coin in the slot where they join. I used a US nickel. A quarter size coin will work too.
Your hook or line goes through the slot of the moveable piece and pulls both pieces together. More pull more tight. Simple and effective. The strength of the connection depends on the breaking strength of the clipped material and the clip. 220 pounds is probably true!
They are relatively small and low profile. I’m going to use mine to attach big towels to my car seats. Perfect. Five Stars!”
